Getting Here

Public transit is a great way to travel to Vancouver's official New Year's Eve celebration in downtown Vancouver. Revellers are strongly encouraged to walk, bike, rideshare or transit to and from the celebrations.

Buses

A significant number of bus services run to and from the downtown Vancouver peninsula. Buses will run on their usual Saturday schedules with some routes running additional evening and late-night trips after normal schedules.

Ferries

SeaBus ferry services from Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver will be extended by one hour. The last sailing from Lonsdale Quay will be at 2:02 am while the last sailing from Waterfront Station will be at 2:22 am.


Parking

There are a number of pay car park facilities, operated by WestPark, located in downtown Vancouver within a short walking distance from venue area of Concord's New Year's Eve Vancouver. This includes:

  1. Canada Place (999 Canada Place)
  2. Bentall Centre (1040 West Pender Street)
  3. Pender Parkade (1130 West Pender Street)
  4. Urban Fare at Coal Harbour (305 Bute Street)
  5. Westin Bayshore (1620 Bayshore Drive)

Traveling Abroad

For long-haul services into the Metro Vancouver region, VIA Rail Canada, Greyhound and Amtrak make daily connections into Vancouver. These services begin and terminate at Pacific Central Station, located next to SkyTrain's Main Street-Science World Station.

B.C. Ferries operates daily sailings between Vancouver, Victoria and Nanaimo from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal in Delta and the Horseshoe Bay Terminal in West Vancouver.

Vancouver International Airport is consistently ranked as one of the world's best airports and is served by a wide variety of local, national and international air carriers with direct routes to major destinations. The SkyTrain Canada Line connects the airport to downtown Vancouver in just 25 minutes.
